I was just wondering if there was a falafel place in Anchorage, and, lo and behold, I turn on Gambell, and there it is.
Today I went to a tire repair shop in Anchorage after having a slow leak in one of my tires. This was just a few days after getting two new tires in Fairbanks. My tire was nearly flat the last couple of mornings, and I had filled it with air. I'm glad I had it repaired, because they found a screw in the tire. I went right after that to get a bicycle pump and a can of fix-a-flat for in case something like this happens in the middle of nowhere.
