I accidentally took a side trip to Mayo (I didn't pay attention to the signs when I was supposed to turn to stay on the highway).
Today I saw a brown bear, two porcupines, a red fox (twice..on my way into Mayo, I saw it dart across the road, and then I saw the same fox again on my way out of Mayo at the same spot coming back the other way with booty in his jaws), and a BUNCH of squirrels. One squirrel played dead by laying sideways in a hole in the ground as I approached.
