Dawson City, YT, 5/20/2014

Dawson City, Yukon. This is an old gold prospecting town that looks almost the same as it did in the late 1800s. The streets downtown (actually, all the streets in the town) are unpaved and the sidewalks are wooden boardwalks.






















This is what happens when you build the wrong way on permafrost.  This building was left standing as an example of what not to do.
