Northern Yukon, 5/21/2014

Headed to the far northern reaches of Yukon. Lots of permafrost tundra.  I tried to take a lot of picture that had not much sky and a lot of land, because the quality or the tundra was so alien to me.  If you get out and walk on it, it is spongy and soft.  Maybe the first inch or two are thawed and soft, but below that, it's frozen.
